THE HISTORICAL DYNAMICS OF POLITICAL METAPHOR

 

The article deals with two aspects of political metaphor dynamics: the archetypical stability and the unsteadiness. The archetypical stability is reflected in metaphors, which transcend culture, time, and geography in political discourse. The unsteadiness becomes apparent in historical changeableness of political metaphors in a certain society.
